Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PrepMate mobile application, website (prepmate.aydat.org), and any related services operated by Aydat, Inc. (“Aydat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using PrepMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About PrepMate

PrepMate is an educational platform designed for students of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). It provides access to past examination questions, enables users to upload and share academic content, and helps students prepare for upcoming exams.

PrepMate is owned and operated by Aydat, Inc., a company incorporated in Delaware, USA, and managed locally by Aydat Ventures, our Ghana-based affiliate.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 18 years old, and
• A current or former GIMPA student, or otherwise affiliated with the institution.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these criteria.

3. User Accounts

To access most features, you must create an account using your GIMPA email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date

You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected] or using the in-app deletion feature.

4. Content Ownership and Uploads

4.1 Ownership

All past question files uploaded to PrepMate remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holders, including GIMPA and lecturers, where applicable.

4.2 User Uploads

By uploading content, you confirm that:

• You have the legal right to share the material
• The file is academic in nature and not offensive, infringing, or harmful
• You grant PrepMate a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute the content for educational purposes

Uploads are subject to moderation. We may remove or reject any submission without notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious or misleading files
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the platform
• Impersonate another user
• Violate any applicable laws or GIMPA regulations

Accounts found engaging in misuse may be suspended or terminated without prior warning.

6. Data Privacy

Your use of PrepMate is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines:

• What data we collect
• How we use and store it
• Your rights under Ghanaian, US, and EU privacy regulations

By using PrepMate, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

PrepMate is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy or completeness of any academic materials
• That the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• That any results derived from use of the platform will be accurate or reliable

Aydat, Inc. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of PrepMate.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PrepMate without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in behavior that harms the community or platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the app ends immediately, and we may delete your account and associated data.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through:

• In-app alerts
• Email (if provided)
• Website notice

Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana and, where applicable, the State of Delaware, USA.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PrepMate will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Accra, Ghana, or the appropriate US district court in Delaware.
